## Prayer

Lord, soften what is hard in me. Amen.

## Truth

The fruit of the Spirit is kindness.

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.

Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.

Or do you presume on the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?
