# Leave Vengeance to the Lord

## Under fire

- You do not need to win the argument in your head. The Lord fights. You stand.
- If you want to repay, that is flesh. Bless. Leave judgment to God.
- Hatred and love of God cannot share a heart. Put the hate down.

## Prayer

Father, vengeance is Yours. Soften hatred in me. Amen.

## Truth

The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still.

Never avenge yourselves. Leave it to the wrath of God. Vengeance belongs to Him; He will repay.

If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge… but you shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
