  • This is not only circumstance. Stay sober and watchful.
  • The lie says you cannot understand the Word. Open Scripture. Obey it.
  • Stand under Christ. Do not fight in the flesh. Eyes on Him.

Prayer

When you do not have the words.

  • Father, I stand in Your strength and Your Word. Amen.

Truth

When you can read deeper — Scripture-rooted steel.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.

For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
