My emotional state is my own. Their choices, silence, or return do not own your peace. You can love them and still rule yourself under God.

Presence without control. Listen. Wait. Talk less. Do not force the present or the future. Show up cleanly; stop securing the outcome.

Love keeps no record. Stop the ledger. Release the score. Do not rehearse every gap as evidence. Forgive as you have been forgiven.

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
