- You were harmed. Name it. Not all of it is your fault.
- You are His. What they did does not change that. Do not let their choices rule your peace.
- Do not repay evil. Leave judgment to God. Grieve. Keep wise bounds.

## Prayer

Father, You see what was done to me. Heal me and hold me. Amen.

## Truth

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.

Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”

Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine.

For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
