There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

This hour

Under fire

The next right hold — walk this hour.

  • Perfect love casts out fear. Run toward His love, not toward control.
  • When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.
  • Fear of man is a snare. You cry Abba, Father.

Prayer

When you do not have the words.

  • Father, I cast this fear on You. Hold me. Amen.

When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.

The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
